The Long Thin Veil and The Story Board

On Friday, The Wild Rose Press Authors were invited to spend a day at The Story Board Group. I had a lot of fun there, and I of course held a contest. :) I've drawn the winner for that contest and drum roll please, the winner is...Jackie Wisherd! Jackie you've won a free download of The Long Thin Veil...I hope you enjoy reading it!

Now, is everyone getting into the Halloween mood? I won't be dressing up this year but here's a picture I just found on the web of one of the costumes I wore when I was a kid..

I wore this costume to a Halloween Party...it went over really well, until the end of the night when the attendees decided to pop me...seriously! LOL I fit in well since my friends dressed up as a sandwich, a block of cheese and a pickle...I was dessert!

Does anyone else have any other funny Halloween costume stories to tell?

How funny Marly!

My son's Halloween party is at school tomorrow. He's going to be a skeleton.

Trick or Treat is tomorrow night here in our neighborhood.

I hope to be done in time for the Wild Rose chat but we'll have to see how things work out with getting my son settled down after all the fun... I may be a little late.

Thanks, Lee! I bet you'll be taking lots of pictures of your son all dressed up.

I hope to make the chat too...but we'll see how the night of having Trick or Treaters at the door goes...:)
